Payment & delivery

To order: 
Are you done shopping? Check your shopping cart to see if everything is correct and click on the 'order' button at the bottom right. In order to complete the order, a number of fields marked with an * must be completed. Then you go through the steps to complete your order. You must also tick the terms and conditions to continue.

Pay: 
We accept different payment methods in the webshop:

  • Klarna (pay afterwards)

After completing your order, you will be forwarded directly to your own bank via a link to complete the payment. You will then automatically receive a confirmation of your order by email.

Ready payment:
Klarna is our choice for postpay. We work with the provider Mollie to make this possible. Lately we have received reports that payments via Klarna are not always processed properly or not at all.

Klarna has been working with an extra verification step for payments for some time now. This means: if you want to make a payment via Klarna, you will also receive an email with an extra code or number that you must enter during the payment.
Without this code or number, the payment will not go through. Check your email box and spam box carefully for this email with number or code.

If you experience problems with ordering and Klarna payments,
feel free to send an email to info@nipponkawaii.nl and then we will do our best to find a solution.

Bank transfer: 
After completing your order you will automatically receive a confirmation of your order by email. In this email you will find the bank account number to which you must transfer the payment. Do not forget to enter the payment reference when transferring. Without this feature, it may take longer before the payment can be verified. 

Payment must be received within 7 (working) days after placing the order. After this, your order will be automatically cancelled.

Please note that it can take a few working days before we receive the payment on our account. The order will be processed as soon as the order has actually been processed. 

Delivery: 
Orders are only shipped via DHL letterbox or parcel post. After receipt of your payment, your order will be shipped within 3 to 5 working days on working days (from Monday to Friday and with the exception of Sundays and public holidays). We use our shipping rule as far as possible: ordered on working days before 4 p.m., shipped the same day. If you order during the weekend (Saturday and Sunday), the order will be shipped the next working day. 

The delivery time is entirely dependent on DHL. Please note that delivery times may be slightly longer around conventions and trade fairs. On these days we are unable to send or process orders.

We use 2 rates within the Netherlands. 

Letterbox post: €2.95
Parcel post: €4.95

Do you order above €50? Then your order will be shipped free of charge within the Netherlands.
 
Shipping costs within the EU (Eurozone 1):
Parcel post: from €9 (above 2kg: €11.00)
Free shipping within the EU from €75

Shipping costs within the EU (Eurozone 2): 
Parcel post: from €15 (above 2kg: €20.00)

Delivery time:
We only ship via DHL/DPD. We are not responsible for any delivery delays. Public holidays may cause a delay in delivery time. If we are present at conventions, this can also cause a delay in the delivery time. We are unable to ship on these days. The customer is at all times responsible for any additional costs such as import costs. 

It may currently take longer for the order to be delivered. This is because there is currently great pressure on DHL to send all orders.

- DHL letterbox post within the Netherlands: about 1-2 working days
- DHL parcel post within the Netherlands: about 1-2 working days
- DPD Parcel Post to EUR1 zone: about 3 to 4 working days.
- DPD/DHL Package mail to EUR2 zone: about 1 to 2 weeks.

If you place and pay for your order on workdays before 4 p.m., your order will be shipped the same working day (unless stated otherwise: for example in the event of a convention or out of stock). Sundays and public holidays are not working days. We will ship the order the next working day. 

We are currently experiencing delays in the delivery of some orders from Japan due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As soon as we know more about the correct release date, we will immediately adjust this for the relevant product. 

Pick up at a convention: 
You can also pick up your order at conventions. Orders can only be picked up if they have been paid in full in advance. If the order has not been paid in full, the order will not be included in the convention. In the shopping cart you choose the option "Pick up @  .............". We will then ensure that you can pick up the order at the relevant convention. Make sure you have your order number and name at hand for checking. 


NB!
The customer is at all times responsible for choosing the correct shipping method. If delivery cannot take place due to incorrect address details, then new shipping costs must be paid for a new delivery attempt.
